Sam has over 30 years’ of successful career spanning across as an international corporate leader, executive coach, consultant and facilitator. His last corporate role was as the Vice President and Managing Director of the subsidiaries of a global listed company.
Sam embarked on his coaching career after taking up the role of Managing Consultant of a regional human resource practice. He has a special interest in developing leadership capability through executive coaching. He has coached C-Suites leaders, business owners and senior executive teams from both private and not for profit organization. His clients are spread across the Asia Pacific.
With his passion in coaching, Sam has co-edited a book in 2010, “Coaching in Asia: The First Decade”. He has regularly contributed articles on leadership and coaching to The Straits Times and Human Resources Magazine and was interviewed on the subject of coaching by Caregiverasia.com. Sam was invited to be on the panel of judges for Brands For Asia Awards 2018-19. He is also a Founding Member & Vice President of Career Development Association of Singapore (CDAS).
Sam holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) and has attended the High Potentials Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. He is a Fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (FCCA) and Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant (ISCA).
Sam is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialed by the International Coach Federation (ICF). He is a Certified Coach with Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching, Certified Solution Focused Coach, awarded a Certificate in Coaching by Henley Business School (HBS), University of Reading and Certified in Job and Transition Coach with Career Planning and Adult Development Network, US.
